To be a true Christian

My heart breaks to see how blind Christians make Christianity look ignorant, and hateful. They go out of their way to preach hate and try to frighten people. Please, if you think Christianity’s core values are like this, listen to what I have to say. Christianity stems from Christ, of course, so being Christian is to strive to be Christ like. This means a true Christian will not judge, will not hate, and will not condemn others. A true Christian will strive to help people, and care for people. And that’s it, Christ didn’t promote war, nor did he look down on anyone as a lesser person.
But today’s Christians do do this, greed and hate have twisted the veiws of most of the church. Worst of all they preach hate against the “sins” that they personally hate. Traditional people find homosexuality gross because they only think of twisted sex. They do not see the love that is blatantly obviously there between those two people. Here is an argument that God may be fine with homosexualily. I can’t speak for God because well, I can’t. One thing that makes humans different is that we have the compasity for love, real genuine love. LOVE is useless emotion that shapes lives, caused wars, and has compelled people to create some of the most awe inspiring art and creations in the world. Love can bring the biggest man to his knees by a petite little woman with as little as a word. Its probably the most powerful thing on this world. From a Christian stand point, God created love for humans. God is all knowing, all loving, and all powerful yes? Then why can a a woman love another woman, and a man can love another man? This is proven when you see young people love eachother (homosexually), when our entire culture and the worlds culture is openly condemning it? If it wasn’t true love, the same emotion that God created, then those young people would most likely bend to the ways of the world. Young, meaning being in middle school, too young to have a real opinion of their own, young enough to not rebel against popular culture. But since it is love they stick to it because they can not change it. Its as if God Himself is holding his or her heart. To sum it up if God gave love to be used homosexually then He must be OK with it. If a blind Christian sticks to their guns and still preaches hate, simply say this. If a homosexual person believes in Christ, he or she will go to heaven after death, and when he or she meets God, God will tell them if its OK or not. But as you see, the fact he or she is in heaven will not be changed by a simple sin (if it is a sin). It hinges on the belief in Christ alone. And that is a fact, if someone says otherwise they are discounting Christs sacrifice on the cross. And that is unacceptable to a true Christian.
